Band Tech Spec

This form is to help us make everything go smoothly on the day, from the technical point of view. We will have a very limited time to change over between artists, and sound checking will be basic. So we'd like to minimise the amount of rejigging. There will be floor monitors and a monitor engineer to help you get a good on-stage sound. But very little time for tweaking. This is especially relevant for drummers - we won't be swapping kits over or moving them about. Let us know if you are bringing breakables or happy to break the ones provided. Guitarists - I'm expecting you will bring your favourite amp, but if not then better let us know. If in doubt, shout!

The name of the band you believe you have been booked to play for. This could get interesting.
Artist name
You.
In case we need to query something
In case there's a crisis.
While we've got you, what's your insta?
Are you completing this on behalf of the whole band?(Required)
If you are, you'll need to list everyone's kit
If you're just one of the band, what will you personally be strumming, banging, plucking or blowing to make a noise?
List any amps, mics, instruments etc that you will definitely be bringing and intend to take onto the stage. ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT MUST BE PAT TESTED. List any requirements these need e.g. mains power, phantom power, stands, supports, seats, whatever. We need to know what you expect to be provided to support your own kit, in every sense. For each item, please list its electrical INs and OUTs so we know how to connect it to the PA. Does it have balanced XLR outputs, or unbalanced jacks, will it need a DI box, or what mics you expect us to provide to capture its magical sound.
Tell us what equipment you want us to provide. e.g. Bass amp, keyboard, cymbals, microphone, drum kit... Be specific if you can. The only instruments we are planning to provide are a drum kit and a keyboard. If you are playing either, and have specific requirements, state them here. Backline amps - a bass amp will be provided.
So let's say you have a favourite keyboard or amp or mic or washboard you could bring. Again, ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT MUST BE PAT TESTED. Let us know what you may bring as we'd rather make things simple by NOT swapping things over throughout the day, but it would be good to know what you have as it could mean we don't have to hire in something. Again for each item, please list its INs and OUTs so we know how to connect it.
If you have anything you think is relevant and we need to know about, concerning the tech specs, please tell us here.
